I purchased these boots (or similar) in 2008 for going on construction site walks. These boots are very well made and investment for years to come. Mine are still in great condition years later. I have used them a few times for hiking but I don't recommend as they are heavy soles (they aren't for hiking anyways!).

Lightweight and comfortable

I wear these for work (flight line mechanic). Steel toes are required. I walk miles every night, so comfort and durability are important to me. Also, I walk on some pretty nasty slippery surfaces (think sheet metal covered in hydraulic fluid) and the slip resistant/oil resistant rating is no BS. This is my third pair. They usually last me a couple years before the belts are showing. I recommend these to anyone who needs a solid work boot.

These boots are amazing! I work at a food production plant where steel toed shoes are required. So when I bought these I wasn't sure how I would feel about them. They are so comfortable and fit so well that I never even had to break them in. I've been wearing them full time since I pulled them out of the box. I've bought these same boots six times and as long as Timberland Pro is in business, they will have my business.

Timberland Pro is the best brand of boot ever!

I already had a pair, (recieved as gift). I no longer work, so I gave them to my daughter who, works at a "slag-pile plant". No rips, tears other than a few scuffs. She wanted a second, (just in case) pair. These boots are the best, hands down! I would never even think of buying any other brand. They last and last and last.

I have been wearing these boots for several years. I have owned several pairs. They are my go to work boot. I work between 5 and 7 days a week and they never let me down. I have paid much more for far less comfortable and durable work boots. Whether my day has me putting in 18k steps or more or less statoonary I don't experience foot pain and leg fatigue.

I first bought these boots in a men's size a few years back when I only needed to wear safety toe boots for a few hours here and there. When I transitioned to a full time construction role I found the men's boots wouldn't cut it and gave me blisters on my heels. I ordered a pair of women's wide and found them to be a perfect fit, true to size comparable to my athletic shoes. There were a couple hot spots when I first wore them, but after they broke in they have been extremely comfortable. I will be ordering another pair of these when the time comes.
